Victim of a reputation as a killer snake conveyed by the cinema through some B-series films, the mere mention of his name, “Anaconda” is enough to make ordinary people tremble. It must be said that, despite the fact that they are not poisonous, these imposing reptiles have the ability to dislocate their jaws in measures allowing them to swallow prey such as, turtles, wild boars and sometimes even jaguars. .
These predators, green in color, can remain for several hours underwater without feeling the need to rise to the surface to breathe. In the waters of the Formoso River in Brazil, two friends, Bartolomeo Bove and Juca Ygarape, found themselves, unexpectedly, in front of this anaconda, just coming out of hibernation and accusing a length of 7 meters for a weight of 200 kg.
During this period, these creatures start hunting for prey or seek a mate. During this improvised face-to-face, the curious animal approached the two divers several times, without aggression, before disappearing. A unique opportunity for Bartolomeo to use this video to raise public awareness by communicating that these animals are, obviously, far from being as dangerous as they are believed to be.

Very beautiful animal and very nice video.
I would say, however, that I find the choice of music a little less judicious. Unless the anaconda was expected to don a black mask and spread its bat wings.
I did not know the anaconda was poisonous.
