The Covid situation spares no one and it does not seem to be improving. This short film completes the previous film by Franck Fougère from Follow me Production the “non-essentials”. The film gets right to the point is perhaps quite shocking, it actually requires several viewings to be appreciated and understood. This film makes you think about the current situation in France. Hélène De Tayrac-Senik has also published a press release 1 day before the publication of the film. To explain his engagement with this film.
It took me a lot of thought before deciding to write these few lines. Franck, has accustomed us to make us dream with coconut palms and white sand, there, it is different. Perhaps with this film, he affirms his talents as a director a little more. This film, at the first viewing disturbed me unable to put my finger on what bothered me, I ended up understanding. The things that bother us the most are often the taboos in our society, this is the subject that everyone avoids and that no one wants to talk about. It's a bit like the beggar at the subway exit, everyone sees him, but everyone prefers to ignore his presence. It takes courage to tackle such themes, it is to the credit of Franck Fougère and Hélène De Tayrac-Senik to think of the little hands of the diving fair.
