THE PEOPLES IN PLONGEE

I met on a boat during the Cannes Film Festival Frédérique Bel, an actress recognized in the world of cinema. He is a very involved person in the field of animal protection. She quickly wanted to know the underwater world in which I live every day thanks to my job.

 I work at Easy Dive since 5 years, which a dive center created by Alexandra GRAN and Grégory POIRIER. The first Easy Dive center based in Juan-les-Pins since 13 years, wanted to expand its field of leisure by creating another structure in Cannes, which I now take care of two years. I am in charge of developing the activity in Cannes and its surroundings.

I have many ideas for changing the center. The stars and their public notoriety have a greater impact in terms of communication and visibility, and thus a greater diffusion effect.

Frédérique Bel has passed her level Scuba Diver (PADI) with me, and was able to observe the beauty of the Cannes funds unknown to the general public. Following this wonderful discovery, she was eager to send the message to JARRY, a very good friend of hers.

"Mr. Jarry" ... what about this character that makes so many people laugh? He came to see me already having a level Rescue Diver (PADI) during his holidays and falls literally under the charm of the marine biodiversity and the typical landscapes that offers us our region.

We seek to protect our seabed and to raise awareness of certain problems with people who attend the same place as we professionals: The Sea. The message is however often difficult to pass. Politicians face professionals who are cautious, lack knowledge, intervention costs are too high and the administrative system is too long. La Mer is no longer the primary source of income for our region.

Do people have the weight to convey and change things, so why deprive themselves?

After a week of diving, JARRY asks me for an interview in private. Worried ... I'm listening to him. Imagine my surprise when he tells me he wants to do his Dive Master in the session that opens 3 days later. And hop, a return to Paris to change suitcase, and here he is back for 10 days of training and intensive training to become a professional scuba diving.

Easy Dive is specialized in diving training since 10 years. The People dive is interesting only if there is the notion of sharing. For me sharing is the key word of my passion. We are exploring a world that is not ours and I want to share those experiences.

A real friendship has been created with great Fred and Jarry since we share the same passion. The last guest was Michael Youn. A character with a big P ... (Public), with whom I had a great time.

The Easy Dive PADI IDC center is open all year round. Jean-Nicolas and his team are waiting for you, and can offer you all kinds of specialized training in diving, you also come as Jarry spend your Dive Master or your IDC at Easy Dive.
