I don't know about you, but when we talk about Coco's Island, an image immediately comes to mind: a huge hammer bench overlooking the photographer ...
Returning from Coco's Island and not having had the opportunity to bring back this image, I asked Pascal Kobeh a few questions so that he could explain to us how he was able to immortalize such an encounter in a shot:
How many times have you been to Coco's Island?
Twice
On which dive site did you make this shot? Alcyone I imagine?
No, Manuellita
Do you remember the time?
It was morning
An idea of your depth?
Feels better than 30 m
Were you above or below the thermocline?
Above, of course. Joking aside, on the film I do not remember, but on the digital, just the limit; I was trying to be on top so I would not be fuzzy.
What memory do you have of this image?
Magical. For me, it's the iconic image of the hammers at Coco's.
In general, what memories do you keep from Coco's?
I do not know all the world spots, especially Rangiroa, but I rank Coco's in the top three. For me it's great.
If we had to redo it?
Right now !!!! And rather two, three, four times that !!!

Christophe hat!
We dream about it… and you do it.
What to arouse other vocations.
Continue to feed this blog… it can still be used.
Good luck to you.
