PUBLAC REDAC
Clear waters studded with green islands and coral reefs, fine sandy beaches stretching out under the tropical sun… The Bahamas certainly have a taste of paradise. This unique archipelago in the world stretches between the coasts of Florida and Cuba and offers diving destinations each with their own specificity.
To discover them, board the French sailing yacht No Stress. This ketch (two masts) is perfectly equipped for diving, with its aft platform, its annex, two compressors and blocks of 15 and 12 L. The comfort is not left behind: wine cellar, DVD player, satellite TV , underwater cameras and mast ... It has two double cabins, three berths and two bathrooms. This ship, autonomous thanks to its solar panels and watermaker, includes advanced electronics (radar, 3D sounder ...) and is barred by Jérôme Arnaud, oceanographer training and N4.
Several itineraries are proposed or can be combined, depending on the season, the desired program and availability. Among the possible routes:
- Grand Bahama / Bimini Shark Cruise. Encounters with the lords of the seas that are tiger, lemon, bulldog and big hammer sharks. Snorkeling supervised by Shark Education's Steven Surina, which takes place on Tiger Beach (Grand Bahama) and Bimini.
- Cat Island Reef and Shark Cruise. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Bahamas, Cat Island Island offers miles of wild and unspoiled beaches, including one of pink sand, and beautiful bays. Under water, it is a well-known meeting place for the long-limbed shark and the silky shark.
- Andros Discovery Cruise. The largest but least explored island of Andros is bordered by the third longest barrier reef in the world. On the menu, coral gardens, vertiginous drop offs and blue holes.
- Discovery cruise Eleuthera (Exumas). Stretching over more than 200 km, the Exumas are part of the Out islands and include at the heart a reserve, the Exuma National Land and Sea Park, created in 1958. This protected environment benefits from a great marine diversity thanks to the proximity of a large fault, the Exuma Sound, sinking to more than 1000 m.
Any cruise between 30 May and 13 June has an exceptional discount of -30%, remember to mention "scuba-people.com" to benefit.

I share Geraldine's opinion.
If this rule is imposed it is not to scare off the tourist diver, it is not in the interest of the diving centers to turn their customers off.
These rules of security imposed on us must ask us about the reactivity of the relief, the health system, and the equipments of the hospitals of these magic destinations but located in so-called countries politely in the process of development.
They are also made for experienced divers but also holidaymakers. Who has never gone on vacation directly after work? So as not to miss a dive and make the most of the week, Who has never dived on the second day with a boat meeting at 8 am after having done a day on the plane and barely slept 5 or 6 hours?
Between a decoration accident at home with a call to cross med, alerted snsm, samu, helico, and caisson sceances at the Perpignan University Hospital - and - a decoration accident in El Nabaa with a repatriation by boat and a stay in a local hospital : What do you choose?
I prefer to 300% make a dive in Egypt without deco.
