On each trip, many of you ask me for photo advice and some have even declared themselves to be starting a dedicated seminar during a diving trip. So with Manuel Lewin de Scuba People and a few partners, we decided to set up in April / May an exceptional stay in Mexico, focused on shooting. I intend to share my experience with you to quickly improve the quality of your photos. And not just the underwater photos… Guaranteed results!
Whether you are beginner or experienced, you should enjoy these user-friendly courses, limited to 10 participants and organized in partnership with PHOCEA MEXICO VIP.
Let me guide you and, in just a few sessions, you will be proud of your images ... With a proven method, by example and practice, I will reveal to you all these "pro tips" that make the photos successful. Viva Mexico!
For this edition, I will be pleased to meet again Martine and Didier from Phocea Mexico, whose infrastructure is ideal for this type of initiative. Round-trip airport transfer in a private van, 4 nights at the Plaza (Playa Del Carmen) in a double room with breakfast (a little more elaborate than classic), 3 nights at Villablanca (Cozumel) in a double room and breakfast.
We will take off from Paris April 5 and we have concocted a sublime program. We will perform 4 dives in Playa del Carmen, 2 in cenotes, 6 on Cozumel and even a trip to Tulum to shoot the Mayan ruins.
The boat is private for the group with dedicated guides, à la carte schedules, and “all modern comforts” 🙂 Not to mention the wealth and variety of subjects to photograph around.
Diving stay indeed, but not only ...
The common denominator will be the image whether it is “underwater” or on land ”. Informally we will have to talk about the image in the broad sense. In the way of transmitting an emotion, of telling a story… Also of artistic sensitivity. Framing, light, colors: how to get more “impactful” shots?

We will see all these points on the basis of your photos taken while diving and during excursions. In practice, I will be with you in small groups at each session to guide you and we will spare time in the evening to view the images in a dedicated room equipped with a large screen in order to introduce you to image processing.
Each participant equipped with a microcomputer (strongly recommended) will also receive a demo version of Adobe Lightroom to be able to work on Mac or Windows during the course.
