The beautiful days will eventually arrive and the season to begin. We discovered this video which presents an accident management from start to finish. It allows to discover a lot of things and to put the ideas to the clear. Good dives and safety to all of you.
As part of the European INTERREG IV B Atlantic Space “Marleanet” project, UBO has created a distance course module on the management of a diving accident.
The video presents the causes of a decompression sickness and the management of the injured by the rescue chain (care provided in the boat, reception and support by the firefighters and transfer to the Hyperbaric Chamber of the CHU).
The video was produced in collaboration with the CHRU de Brest, the CROSS Corsen, the SAMU, the SDIS 29 and the Association Groupe Manche Atlantique Plongée (GMAP).
