If you are a follower of Fenzy, an incorrigible nostalgic for the Mistral, if you too are tracking down those dear old round black masks which never fogged the slightest bit and remained in place no matter what, do not miss the "Rencontres of Vintage diving ”, which will take place in Canet en Roussillon during the Easter weekend.
YOU CAN TRY IT ALL
Organized by Laurent Stievenazzo and Patrice Strazzera (Le Sommeil de Epaves), assisted by a group of crazy people passionate about old diving equipment, this weekend will be an opportunity for many to discover or re-discover the sensations of yesteryear with legendary regulators like the Mistral ...
A LITTLE DIVING CULTURE
As the organizers are reasonable people, the “real” dives will therefore take place in the morning, to then enjoy a well-deserved aperitif and buffet! Saturday afternoon will be a literary fair! With in particular Gabriel Di Domenico, Alain Foret, Francis le Guen, and Patrice Strazzera, around their latest works. And the same evening, the authors will offer a conference, “Underwater journey towards vintage diving”.
HEAVY FEET AND OLD RIGS
Baptisms heavy feet will be offered thanks to Eric Souverville and Marc Langleur who will bring the necessary equipment. Saturday afternoon, outings on old rigs are also planned: a few circles in the water to discover the charm of the Latin sails and wooden boats in front of the port of Canet.
WITH AQUATILE
The center "Aquatile Diving”Du Canet will organize the sea trips for this convention.
A Facebook group has been created and brings together over 200 members to date: https://www.facebook.com/groups/plongee.vintage/, you can find there all the information necessary for the organization of your weekend, from diving to accommodation.
And for the most addicted, a website is being created and will be online from April.

Hey, hey, it reminds me of good old memories of freemans.
You are a real diver (a real diver) if to relax you need a regulator.
