The dive lounge has 15 years! And from 11 to 13 next January, it is with the champions of apnea that Hélène de Tayrac has chosen to celebrate the age of maturity. It promises us a dense, rich lounge, resolutely placed under the sign of the party, and shared experiences.
COAST THE CHAMPIONS OF THE ABYSSES
Freediving will be in the spotlight, and in all its forms: with the champions, and in particular Pierre Frolla, quadruple world record holder, who is the sponsor of this anniversary edition. And it will be an opportunity to understand how apnea, contrary to appearances, is a team sport. As he says, “One watchword: one for all, all for one. Snorkeling is a collective, shared adventure. Alone, we are nothing. ” The freedivers present will therefore come to share their experience, and beyond the conferences and screenings, you will be able to participate in specific activities in the exhibition area.

(RE) DISCOVER SNORKELING
But the show will also be an opportunity to learn about snorkeling, learn from time to time to drop the bottles. This is another way to discover the shallows, and the reasons to go there are not lacking: sharing with the family even with the smallest, unexpected opportunity to put your nose in the water, diving budget exhausted or want to to travel light ! It's a real activity, to discover or rediscover, which has its place in a life of a diver.
CONCENTRATE AND FESTIVE
This year, the show will be focused on three days: a way to breathe life into the event, to increase the number of events and daily meetings for visitors. And from Friday evening, the tone for 2013 will be set with a night extended until 22 p.m., and an evening made for the public. The show is particularly festive, and there will be many candles to blow out: 15 years for the event of course, but also 50 years for Scubapro, as well as for the Port-Cros National Park. For both the reserve and the manufacturer, half a century of human adventure to share with the public. A large exhibition will present in particular the underwater flora and fauna of the Park, a biodiversity treat for lovers of Mediterranean depths.
FROM BAÏKAL TO MALDIVES
As every year, beyond the announced massive presence of manufacturers and TOs, the show will multiply the highlights: events, such as baptisms in a bottle or in a recycler; exhibitions, with in particular that of Laurent Ballesta, some forty prints of more than one meter which will present some of the most beautiful pictures of the biologist photographer; various conferences, devoted for example to diving under icebergs, to the discovery of Lake Baikal, or to the manta rays of the Maldives. And several destinations, including Madagascar, will have their own stand for the first time this year. You can also find the stand of the magnificent Waouh, a dream ship that we presented to you a few months ago in the pages of the Mag.
"There will be many new exhibitors, concludes Hélène de Tayrac, a great way to celebrate the 15 years of the show." And the program is not yet definitively closed, we can still wait for some additional surprises.
