Hello,
I just read all of your comments on the film. Very interesting. With the trailer, I did indeed have the feeling that it was a disaster movie: I'm not a big fan, just like the 2012 movie.
Well if not, I have a film proposal for you: Last night. I won't say it's a comedy like Rien à Déclarer (which doesn't appeal to me) but I really liked it. There are some very good actors. This is not a head-turner film, rather easy and entertaining. We can stop at the 1st degree as always but it also allows a real debate on the subject: from when / what act, the man or the woman cheats on the other? I went there with a friend, as a couple, we didn't have the same vision and we had a very interesting discussion.
Otherwise when Open Water came out, I would say that I had been a bit masochistic: I saw the film 2 weeks before going diving in the Bahamas with the center which had participated in the film. I came back from there you see… and whole 😉
