The 3000th image has just been posted on the Photo Biologie Sous Marins website www.photosous-marine.com
Born January 1, 2009 from an idea of Blue Lagoon www.blue-lagoon.fr , this site is animated by the only passion for underwater life and its photographic representation. And it is in this perspective of sharing passion that Net Folio (for the technical part) and the association Peau Bleue, www.peaubleue.org , (for the scientific part) joined the project.
Today you are every day more numerous to visit the site and every week more numerous to contribute by sending your photos. (to date, 130 underwater photographers, driven by the sole desire to share their vision of underwater nature: not bad isn't it?)
Photo Bio sous-marine looks more and more like what its creators wanted: a place of meeting, sharing where you can find a wealth of information and unpublished images, to explore by destination, by zoological group, or simply at random, like an erratic dive into a universe of shapes, colors and astonishing behaviors ...
Keep walking there and invite your friends… And don't hesitate to send your most interesting photos of underwater life. Passion is shared and BIO SUBMARINE PHOTO is there for that ...

Dear friends and dear friends
(Forgive my French in advance) Thank you to all the women and men who have contributed in these days and in the past, and still participate, in the events affecting the Semporna region at Borneo Malesien.
Words will never be enough to thank you for the support, the effort and the initiatives that you have all been able to put together following the information received on what is happening in the waters of the Celebes Sea. (And alas in all the freshwater and saltwater ecosystems of the entire planet)
J here a letter received after your petitions by

Dear Guido
Thank you for your courage in sharing your photos of the realities in Semporna. Please be aware you are not alone in your outrage at the pillaging of Sabah's natural resources.
The Green Connection has started with a fairly strong 1 of the Wildlife Act. This would make it as bad as it is to hunt Orang Utan.
With luck, hard work and support from people like yourself, this will be the year Sabah saves its sharks!
Please join the Green Connection on FB, along with Jcitanjungaru Saynotosharkfin, sign the petition, share our links, and invite your friends. We'll keep you posted on the progress of the campaign (On Sunday, we had as much space on the front page of the newspaper as the Tsunami in Japan!).
Also, I'd like your permission to use your horrific photographs. I can then ensure they are seen by the right people (The minister of tourism, Sabah Tourism board, Department of Wildlife, Navy etc) and use them in the awareness campaign. Should you grant this permission, please let me know whether you wish to be credited or remain anonymous.
Kind regards,
Hazel Oakley

I share this letter with you, my courage is “your courage”, I return the thanks to all of you, you have been and you are the heart of this campaign.
No matter where you come from, no matter what your geography position is, what you are doing now, the positive energy you are putting into this battle, joins us so far and supports us more.
Be positive! To all those who see the catastrophe coming, to all those who run sheltered from the black knot of the day of judgment, send back the message: the world will know no Apocalypse, we are not afraid, you are more frightened, a single individual can generate a change movement of an inuhie magnitude.
We are more and more numerous, several men (www.seashepherd.org) and women (http://www.sharkangels.org - and many other examples could follow) have decided to stake what it costs.
Others not having the chance to be able to abandon their homes, contribute as best they can, and sometimes a CLICK on an electronic sheet or a few drops of inks on old cellulose have the same weight and deserve the same recognition of what risks their life in the field.
This message that the peoples of North Africa have been sending us for a few months now reminds us that we have the power to say “NO - BASTA”! to the “political, media, psychological and economic dictatorship” that surrounds us.
The day will come when the living organisms and all the biodiversity present on earth will live in harmony and in the respect of the oldest laws governing the universe since its appearance.
I love you all.
