Ondine Eliot, 14 years old, founder of the association Shark Passion,
launches First Week of Youth for the Safeguarding of Sharks
in his (new) college located in Auneuil (60, North of France):
the operation " It sucks for sharks! »
From March 28 to 1er April, many activities will be offered to college students and a party in particular is open to the public to raise awareness of this issue.
March 31, from 19:30 pm and free entry open to all: exhibition, show, graffiti produced live by an artist and screening of the film “The Lords of the Sea” by Rob Stewart followed by a debate.
Many divers already know Ondine, who at the age of 12 created an exhibition that she has been hosting ever since at trade fairs (diving fair in Paris), schools or even aquariums.
She was present in the film “Severn, the voice of our children”By Jean-Paul Jaud, released in November 2010, and spoke of his fight to raise awareness of the essential role of the shark in biodiversity.
It is thanks to local actors and its partnership with Dykkeren, an eco-friendly clothing brand created by divers that the operation sees the light of day, most of the funding coming from the sale of the t-shirt Sharks Rescue published by Dykkeren in January 2010 whose each sold copy makes it possible to transfer 5 € to Passion of the Sharks, to reach to date a little more than 1000 €.
Do not hesitate to participate in the event!
