NEWS EQUIPMENT - An Australian company brings to market a new device designed to keep sharks away. The principle of the device is simple, it is to send electrical impulses which disturb the animal and thus prevent it from approaching. Shark Shield's “electric shield” attaches to the leg and weighs just 380 grams. It could soon equip divers of the Australian Navy.
