CLUB reopening of Carantec Bay of Morlaix

Allow me to propose to you again a diving destination near and yet so far away.

It is again possible to dive on the sites of the Bay of Morlaix from Carantec.

Perhaps, some of you have already had this luck but for various reasons the club and the associated SCA collapsed 3 years ago.

The time to reorganize the activity a new structure is now in place. With its diving specificity, it is directly associated with Carantec Nautisme, which manages all nautical activities, in particular sailing, kayaking, boarding, etc., concentrated on the nautical base at Kelenn beach.

This allows a homogenization of resources and a gradual recovery of capabilities.

For the moment, the diving club has two aluminum barges, a rapid one for 12 divers and a catamaran for 32 divers.

The dives are organized every day during the summer in general RDV 9h00 and 14h00. The sites are a few minutes by boat from the departure slipway and are accessible to all levels. They are supervised by 2 BEES and volunteer instructors from the associated diving club.

This year N1 trainings are organized but any request can be studied punctually.

There are also possibilities for welcoming groups.

In short, it's a rebirth, quiet but on exceptional dive sites of absolute wealth for the bay of Morlaix is ​​a protected area, mixing fresh water and sea water with a configuration of multiple dive sites (or navigation) a few minutes from the edge.
