Sandra Bessudo, biologist, diver & Minister of the environment !!!

José Manuel Santos, the new President of Colombia has just indicated that from 07 August Sandra Bessudo (Director of Malpelo park) would take up his new post as Minister of the Environment. According to Santos, Colombia is the country with the greatest bio-diversity in the world per square meter and that it must assume this world leadership in environmental matters. Of Sandra Bessudo he says that she is a “person of international renown and has dedicated her life to preserving the environment.”
