There are only 55 individuals off the New Zealand .
If nothing is done, the Maui dolphin, subspecies of Hector's dolphin, will extinguish towards 2030.
According to conservationists, he is the victim of fishing nets and mining off the coast of New Zealand.
The government has been singled out for its inaction towards the the rarest dolphin on the planet at the last meeting of the Scientific Committee of the International Whaling Commission (CBI), held in mid-June in South Korea.
This body advocates inter alia the prohibition of gillnets and trawling to preserve the last individuals.
But no action is currently engaged to save the species from extinction.

Once again a species will disappear, intensive fishing and unsuitable nets will do irreparable damage
