- Meet the wreck of the B26 Lavasina by -65 meters -
- Bastia Corse July 2011 -
On July 14, why not dive especially when the weather is good (not that given by France but that of the Italians: Lamma). Appointment is made with David, Jean-Guy for assistance on the dive of B26 Lavasina. A dive that is preparing, -65 meters. David took care of the Gas (TX 18-30 and NX50%), he arrives at around 9:30 am at the port of Toga for the launch, Jean Guy is there and gives us a hell of a hand to load everything.
We take the direction of the dive site, by the way we will cross a dead dolphin floating on the surface .. (sad ..)
We continue our journey. The GPS point tells us that the wreck is there, we anchor the gueuze and the safety blocks at the NX (1 to 40 M and 1 to 6 meters). We equip ourselves in the water, the sea is calm and no current, the starting signal is given and zou immersion in the big blue. In a few minutes we reach the bottom, the wreck of the B26 is in front of us (I messed up with my camera it will be David the photographer today and me the top model).
We arrive by the starboard wing, then go up to the side towards the first engine, the water is cold 14 °, 10 ° away from the surface, you can feel it. David shoot me I take advantage of my dive, we continue by going up on the fuselage towards the tail machine guns in their canopy. A beautiful holothurian is on the tail, we go towards the second engine while glancing at the nose of the plane, meeting with Mostelles .. time flies and already 14 minutes at the bottom we are in the runtime at the level gas, it's time to go up. David inflates the parachute and the ascent to the surface begins, deep stops etc. We will exit after 64 minutes of diving.
Back to the port and good restaurant to talk and look at the beautiful photos of David ..

If it interests us? Me anyway yes!
How old are you Christophe to make this radical change?
What prompts someone with a “plush job” to drop everything?
For my part, I discovered diving a little before 25 years old and it has become obvious. There was no other option but to choose this activity as a professional path. But I did not give up a wealthy job ...
Once again, I will be happy to follow your experience 😉
In the meantime GOOD TRAINING and GOOD DIVES
