NFO URGENTISTE INTERESTING:
During emergency interventions, first aiders or responders have noticed that very often during accidents (road accidents for example), accident victims or injured have a mobile phone on them ...
However, during these interventions, you never know who to contact in the phone book, the laptop of the injured.
Rescuers and paramedics have therefore launched the idea that each person with a mobile phone, enter his directory, "THE" person to contact in an emergency, under the same pseudonym or mnemonic known internationally.
This known international pseudonym is: ”ICE” (In Case of Emergency) and official since 23/03/2009.
Under this name, it is necessary to enter, the number of the person to be contacted, usable by the helpers, medical responders, police, firemen or first aid.
If “THE” person is not reachable or when several people are or must be contacted, then you can use: ICE 1, ICE 2, ICE 3 etc…
It is easy to implement, it is free, it can save time and bring a lot, during accidents encountered in our diving activity.
Wouldn't that be a useful message to pass on to the “diving world”…
