“I hesitated for a long time before accepting Marc Langleur's proposal to give, in his Vaucluse fiefdom, a“ vintage ”(necessarily vintage…) conference on our cave diving expedition in Australia.
The diver of the desert
I try in fact not to be a man of the past and am mainly interested in becoming. This performance of the time is completely obsolete compared to the magnificent explorations carried out today. Because the young divers have grown up ... Not to mention the divers!
But it is also true that many of you discovered cave diving by reading my first book "Les Scaphandriers du Désert" published in 1985 and, for some of this "first generation", it was a vocation. Yes, the youngest, I had a life before the Dive Logs! 😉. So, to go back in time, I owed you that! ”
In addition, Marc and his friends managed to digitize the old 16mm film reel " Black Water »That we had made for France 2 on this occasion. My first film… With all its youthful flaws.
It will therefore be a great pleasure to meet you on June 20 at Camaret-sur-Aigues, Vaucluse, not far from the famous fountain…
