1983 : a group of five young French “beatniks” (according to Francis Leguen himself) set up an expedition in the desert of Nullarbor, in the south of Australia. At the end of this adventure, a world record of plongUnderground: the Cocklebiddy cavity is explored over 10 km round trip in 47 hours, in a scuba! A film, “Black Water”, was broadcast on Antenne 2, then a book, “Les divers du Désert”, was released in 1986.
2014 : at the initiative of Marc Langleur, the film 16 mm is digitized by through a fan, Thomas Nicolle.
