On June 18, 2010, a decree concerning the certificates of recreational divers in France was signed, as well as a corrigendum concerning this decree. These texts define the space and the conditions for the development of all divers in France, whether or not they have a French diving certificate.
A PADI diver wanting to dive in France, must justify the skills requested, by presenting their certification card or logbook. Depending on his level or experience, the Diving Director will decide to have him dive according to the grid defined in appendix III-14-a of the order.
If this diver has no proof with him, the Dive Director will have him do a test dive to assess his level.
The skills are separated into 2 categories, framed dive (PE) or autonomous dive (PA) allow you to dive in 4 zones of predefined depths: 0 to 12m, 0 to 20m, 0 to 40m and 0 to 60m.
You will find complete information with the two orders on the website of Diving diving

A quick answer H20 TRAVEL: ”there is 40% less of each species that you have just listed compared to the last census which took place in June 2009… of course if we are talking about SHARKS then the degas is more important , 60% less… can we consider this “reassuring information”?
Mr. Thierry and also dear friends, here is some news…
In the 15 days that ran off the TV reporter from STAR TV (Asia), an Asian satellite service owned by News Corporation (FOX, SKY channels, Murdoch's SAT CORP) is on site to prepare a news documentary on the situation of the roquains
A group of professional documentary filmmakers from Poland and the USA has opened a project called Badjao Project, which includes the problems of dynamite fishing and the massacre of the Roquans in the region of Semporna
UNESCO officers resident in Malese and various organizations and faculties of marine biology in the Sbah region have come out in favor of the creation of a law to prohibit roquain fishing and other protected species.
The Minister of Tourism has been contacted and will be encouraged to take action on the next Council of Ministers next July ... as shown by this letter that I ask you all to read and run as quickly as possible
Thank you all for your actions and your support

HELP WANTED
If anyone has dive observations of sharks - number seen, dive location, hours underwater, when
I have detailed data for Banggi and Tip of Borneo, 2000 for 5 years 1997-2002
I have great data 1996 & 97 (min 6 hr each site, 362 sites around Sabah), good data 2001 & 2002 and reasonable data 2009 & 2010
simple data is better than none Please send to me
More is better, dig out your dive logs!
Sipadan, Mabul, Kapali, any fish surveys or counts of sharks 45 1h fish surveys in 1997
Liz you have done the most work on Sipadan, Any old data on numbers of sharks seen in a dive would be fantasitic. I have data from Layang layang which we can use as a baseline, data from Sipadan in the 80's or 90's will also give a baseline of how many have gone.
We are going to need evidence to prove that shark numbers are falling. I have a lot of data but more is better. If you can please help.
We also need market records especially for kudat 5-1997
Please forward to everyone who has done a lot of dives, Dive masters or scientists, we don't need species, simple numbers will do.
The minimum useful data is who, sharks seen, where and when preferably underwater
and the negative data is as useful as the positive, so please send data that you didn't see sharks on XX dives and you saw 1 sharks on 2 dives
Gold data like Liz Woods, no sharks seen in Tun Sarakan Marine Park
143 dives TARP, 2009,2010 no sharks seen. 6-20m
Or the Horn Mike expedition which only saw sharks at lankayan
An email will do, - a spreadsheet of data is better
simple data can be uploaded to http://sharks-sabah.wikispaces.com/Shark+sightings+table
Will try to keep everyone informed but the two facebook pages will get the news first.
