From 15 September to 15 November 2013
the Aquarium of Paris invites you to meet sharks
through a new exhibition.
Interview with Maud Fontenoy "An exhibition to put an end to our collective fears"
"There would be more deaths from aggressive dolphins or falling coconuts than from shark attacks a year !!
Thanks to the exhibition "Meet the sharks" proposed by the Aquarium of Paris, you will understand how this endangered animal is so precious for survivalfor both marine ecosystems and humans.
Through my Foundation, within the framework of educational programs that we put in place free of charge throughout the French school community, my desire is to highlight the fact that "Saving the ocean is saving man".
Oceans represent 71% of the Earth's surface and have always been essential to the functioning of life on Earth. Le grand bleu offers us more half of the oxygen we breatheit regulates our climate, fed nearly 3.5 billion people, provides us with drugs and enzymes, energies and jobs ...
For this balance to continue, we need to preserve all the links in the food chainfrom plankton to shark, from the most beautiful anemones to the most frightening barracudas.
I spent more than half of my life on the seas of the globe, my fight today is to show how much the riches of the ocean are fragile, poorly known and yet so precious.
Diving with me in this fascinating big blue. This exciting exhibition will tell you a lot about our future! "

Good news for FFESSM licensees who are lucky enough to live in the Paris region:
The Paris Aquarium and the IDF Picardie Committee of the FFESSM will sign an agreement on October 14 which will allow FFESSM licensees to benefit from a 50% reduction all year round to come and visit the Paris Aquarium in the gardens of the Trocadero.
The family wallet should love!
