Diving in a dry suit is nothing for beginner divers, I had always advised my bînomes to have done at least 50 dives before doing the “dry suit” specialty.
You must first master your “jacket” and this at 100% and know how to dive while also playing with your breathing to have a good position of the body during the dive.
Diving in a dry suit gives an additional difficulty that should not be overlooked.
You have to manage 2 different air management techniques, as long as there is no emergency (diving accident) it is well manageable if you have enough diving experience, but if must manage his “jacket” + his waterproof suit and in addition the same thing for a diver who is in an emergency, this is only possible by divers who are extremely well trained for this type of emergency (I am talking about it of experience: I had to ascend (from -50m) an instructor who was intoxicated by the depths and who made “the otter”… and who had also partially lost consciousness during the ascent), I do not wish anyone to live such an experience.
Because the diver who does the rescue is at great risk of leaving his skin there and he also ends up in a coffin if for example the diver in difficulty panics etc tears / breaks the equipment of the diver who is doing the rescue. Some divers who tried to save their bînome gave up their lives, we must not forget such realities.
