A big thank you to Yves / Livia, Axel / Justine and Eric Le Raie Manta Club and the Rurutu Lodge (two whales in front of our eyes at breakfast this morning…) If you like whales, don't hesitate to come and see (from July to November) these magnificent marine mammals that are the humpback whales (Megaptera Novaeangliae) on the island of Rurutu in the Austral Islands in the south of Polynesia What luck to be able to meet these mammals in these conditions!… It is the fruit of a long work, Guides that are Axel and Justine and Eric during these last 15 years, They have great respect for these fascinating and graceful animals in spite of their size Thanks to them we had the chance to observe them so close and so quiet, the whales have become accustomed to our presence and feel confident as long as we respect certain rules dictated by our guides. I wish you to be able to experience this kind of encounter. Give the few photos below ...
Have a good day
