Shaab el Erg - D1 - dive 1
DESCRIPTION
Shaab El Erg is a large reef opposite El Gouna, north of Hurghada. It is a large horseshoe shaped reef where a lot of diving is possible. A family of dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) lives on the premises.
BRIEFING
The boats are anchored south of the reef, sheltered from the wind and waves. It is advisable to dive with a drift. After launching, we head straight for the left hand reef. The current can be strong. The reef slope and the sandy bottom are covered with an important underwater life. Swim through the canal that leads to the “dolphin house”.
FAUNA AND FLORA
It is a very rich site where we see many species such as anthiasn of large moray eels and dolphins ... different soft and hard corals and tables of coral. Turtles come to feed there, the fusilliers are counted by the thousands on the bottom.
Bluff Point barge - D1 - dive 2
DESCRIPTION
Bluff point is located northeast of Gubal Island. The site is made up of a deep drop off that exceeds 40 meters. To the south, the drop off is removed to allow a plateau to grow. The site is limited to the south by the bay which is protected from the north and the south, which makes it the ideal spot for anchoring. In about ten meters we find the remains of a wreck perfect for night dives.
BRIEFING
The current can be very strong on this side of the island. In daytime diving, we take the reef in the right hand. In night config, the dive takes place around the wreck.
FAUNA AND FLORA
Lots of life on this reef. Light and light create the ideal living conditions for both hard and soft corals. It is a shelter for all the species of the surroundings. Lots of scorpion fish and of course “Granny” the biggest moray eel in the whole Red Sea.

Gota Abu Ramada west - D4 - dive 11
DESCRIPTION
This is probably the most famous dive site in Hurghada. A spot accessible to everyone, from beginners to seasoned divers. It is a huge coralline formation located near the island of Abu Ramada oo the name of “gotta” which means “piece”. This site is often called the aquarium… you will understand why.
BRIEFING
The anchorage is located on the southern part, the less interesting of the reef. The sandy bottom on which the reef rests is filled with coral clusters.
We start our dive south east of the reef, about 10 to 12 meters deep under the boat. On the “road” take the site on the left side, then 20 meters from the reef we will take the direction that leads to 3 potatoes, all covered with soft coral accompanied by a fabulous collection of fish. These ergs are positioned north to south, one behind the other, parallel to the reef slope. After reaching the third potato, we turn around and head back to the main reef.
FAUNA AND FLORA
This place is wonderful because of the huge variety of corals that are present there. It is far ahead of all nearby sites. Not very far from the main reef, there is passage of barracudas and fusilliers. You can also come across scorpion fish, rock fish, scorpion fish and even crocodile fish.
