MAYOTTE 2013
The traveler that I am, looking for authentic experiences, and new islands to conquer, was surprised to discover that in the 21st century, there is still a destination at the end of the world that has kept intact its rhythm of life , its age-old traditions and its environment.
A paradise for naturalists, the island of Mayotte is one of those privileged destinations. Its richness comes from the diversity of its fauna, its terrestrial and aquatic flora. Thanks to its marine biodiversity, the lagoon of Mayotte was decreed in January 2010, by the President of the French Republic, second Marine Natural Park of France.
Mayotte invites you on a journey of time and mass tourism to live unique experiences ...
It is with a real Paradise for divers with magical sites and evocative names like islands of sand, Choizil islets, beaches of N'gouja, Sakouli, Mount Choungui, garden of spices, vanilla, ylang-ylang ... and its famous Makis, Mayotte opens wide the doors of the most beautiful lagoon of the Indian Ocean, a lagoon of 1 400 km2 composed of a double coral reef, a paradise of humpback whales, dolphins and sea turtles.
Mayotte, 5th overseas department is a French island, a small piece of Africa north of the Mozambique Channel located in the heart of the Indian Ocean invites you on an authentic journey to wear fins…!

Personally, I have a small Panasonic camera (10cm x 5cm and 1,5cm wide with the Ikelite box) full hd. Quite happy.
