Hello I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you during the next World Underwater Image Festival in Marseille where I will present, for the 16th year, a set of 57 works including 14 unpublished oil paintings. We will be able to meet around a glass of "pommeau" during my traditional opening which should be held on Friday around 17:30 pm, accompanied by Bernard Abeille and the Festival orchestra. This will be the opportunity to present to you the latest edition of the Australian magazine “Ocean Geographic”, directed by Michaël Aw who dedicates me a portfolio “Dreams in Blue Canvas” of 9 images. (Preview, my previous 21 portfolios published in the international press are also online). We should also have the preview of a video by Nathalie Lasselin (director of the film in competition Hean Táak) entitled: “Le Peintre du Bleu… Immergé” produced during my exhibition in the lakes of Quebec and the St. Lawrence in August and September. The festival will be held for the second consecutive year at Palais du Pharo in Marseille, from 27 to 31 October 2010. HOURS The summer event At the invitation of AQUART 2010, I had the honor of participating in 3 unique exhibitions in the world that took place underwater, in the Flintkote Quarry, in Thetford Mines, Quebec, on August 6-7-8 , at the Carrière Morrisson, Gatineau, North of Ottawa, Quebec, September 4-5, and in the St. Lawrence River, in Brockville, Ontario, September 11-12. 50 of my paintings were installed among 200 works immersed during this 4ème Festival which also gave rise to the realization of 5 half-spheres, arranged permanently end of September at the bottom of the career of Flintkotte, become over the years a true underwater museum.

What a good idea!!! See U there !!!
Allows me to put my two cents in ...
The fenzy as mentioned by Steph was an element that allowed you to hit the mini bottle to regain the surface in case of bp.
The stab brings a very useful element: the ability to stabilize at any depth !!!
We therefore went from a vertical position (it was necessary to fin to avoid continuing to descend) to a horizontal dive which requires a lot MUCH less effort ...
This “modern” dive made it possible to open the activity to a greater number of practitioners and PRACTITIONERS since it is less physical 😉
