UPDATE - Thanks to all of you, our project is one of 30 semi-finalists on over 300 projects! We will now have to vote for 12 days - ONCE A DAY - from December 5 to 16 in order to get to the final. This is the last popular vote period and you have to finish at least 10th among the 30 semi-finalists. Projects making it to the final will then be eligible for re...carry the funding offered by AVIVA. However, the winners will be chosen by a jury and not by popular vote. In addition to meeting all the eligibility criteria of the competition, our project is very original so it has excellent chances of being selected. However, we have to get to the final and the competition will be fierce. We will need at least 10000 votes to finish in the Top-10. We therefore need your help to encourage your diving friends, colleagues, schools and diving clubs to vote for us ONCE A DAY from December 5th to 16th. We are almost there. Help us study and protect the Greenland shark in Quebec. THANK YOU !!! - Jeffrey http://youtu.be/N_G-6xXBcCc

Hello Marie Aline,
Personally, I think that we can have fun without necessarily making long decompression stops… In diving cruises, it is important to keep in mind that depending on the destination, it is impossible to have a Helicopter that would come to do an emergency evacuation for a recompression chamber ... In addition, all diving travelers are not trained during the year and some are less aware than the lack of physical training linked to a systematic and repeated decoration over a short period of time. considerably increases the risk of accident… Whether they are Padi or Cmas does not change anything, the DPs ensure that the stay is pleasant and that safety is respected for the well being of all the participants of the cruise…
Depth is one thing; we must respect the laws of each country.
Decompression diving is something else, we saturate the slow tissues much more on a long dive to 20 m than on a dive to 30 meters with a shortened time….
Personally, I like to do one hour dives during my stays, that does not prevent me from doing “deep” dives and staying in the dives for a long time without over-saturating. It's my opinion.
Regards, Géraldine
Hi Laurent, give us a reminder on 4/12 (and the following days for latecomers and / or new arrivals); for my part, I just noted it on my diary. We will give you a helping hand! I will pass the info on fb from the 4th.
Thank you for this support, it s together that we will succeed!
You can use multiple accounts to increase the number of votes, to succeed it will take at least 10 000 !!!!
