It's almost Christmas and in my head is already ringing “Last Christmas I give you my heart” Group Wham! What not you? Last Christmas - WHAM.
This year again, I wrote my letter to Santa, here it is:
“My dear Father Christmas,
It is now 3x years that you drop great gifts under my Christmas tree. I thank you because you had to make sacrifices to please me. I was so happy totear off the gift wrap and find out that you were giving me exactly what I wanted. This Santa must really be connected with my thoughts and maybe even with scuba-people.com, who knows ?! (The laws of Santa Claus are impenetrable 🙂
This year I was sad to learn that the Santa's hood knew too budget restrictions and that elves would be fewer to help you. Don't worry, I don't need anything. But if for you every child deserves to find a gift under the tree, so I'll give you some clues.
A book with whom I amget away from Parisian greyness and immerse myself in the middle of my little living room in beautiful underwater scenes such a naiad where the sharks, Whales and even the killer whales would be my friends ... implied narcosis would have the power to make the monde ...yet...more beautiful.
It may be that book with magical powers difficult to find in such a large libraryAmazonI admit my little daddy Christmas. So for help your elves, I give you the references of some grimoires:
Journey to the heart of the reefs, Alex Mustard
Book of a very respected photographer (I'm a fan too) who tells us a trip to the heart of coral reefs from around the world. He reveals us the surprising morals and often unrecognized small critters. The abundant life of the reefs would open up to us ...
Wild encounters, Francois Sarano
François SARANO, I'm a fan too, takes us into a Trip around the worldand yes again! He reveals us the most beautiful stories of his dive book, that's already 40 years he dives. In this book, there is realism, theevasion, met with wild animals, a message from preservation and it's beautiful, that's all! A grimoire with real powers? In short, to test!
The water age, David Doubilet
Recognized around the world as being one of the masters of underwater photography, David Doubilet reported images revealing barely visible creatures, corals and underwater plants. 25 years of work of the photographer: Galapagos at the Red Sea and thePacific Ocean fresh water from North America. This book may have the power to immerse us without getting wet!
World Atlas of Marine Fishes, Debelius, Kuiter and Louisy
When I was little, you offered me a beautiful atlas that I flip through a lot and that I kept during my many moves. Today I would like to have one with all the fish of the world to feast on their shapes and colors and especially the best identifier after the dive. If you do not find it in French, I'll be content with the English version.
Underwater flora and fauna of the Mediterranean - Discover differently
Philippe Carrez is able to transform a picture of fish in a picture in 3 dimensions. You have the impression that fish will come out of the tablet digital. Little Santa Claus, I think this book is very very powerful and I would like a lot of fun share with my niece of 4 years. (At this point of reading you think I am 4 years of mental age but if at least that makes you smile, that was kind of the point :))
The 24 December, my tree will be illuminated with its garland (Chinese LEDs, budget requires) and near the chimney as usual you will find your glass of rum and ginger biscuits.
Thank you my little daddy Christmas
