Pau WATSON's lawyers contest international arrest warrants.
PARIS - The lawyers of the Canadian Paul WATSON, nicknamed the green hacker, have asked Interpol not to take into account, or disseminate, the international arrest warrants of which the founders of the Sea Shepherd organization is the subject.
They want in a statement sent Monday to AFP, that Interpol refuses to relay its Red Notice, bulletin aimed at an arrest with a view to extradition, requested by Costa Rica.
Pau WATSON hides at sea, according to the office of his French lawyer. He would be in international waters.
No one can seriously dispute that the procedures at the origin of the 2 arrest warrants issued by Costa Rica and Japan are extremely questionable, even purely and simply fabricated; write the French and German lawyers of Paul WATSON Mse William BOURDON and Olivier WALLASCH.
No one can doubt either the political nature of the manhunt that Japan wanted to organize in this way, which accuses their client of having committed the sacrilege of denouncing and opposing whaling, illegal and yet practiced with impunity by Japan, they added.
The 2 lawyers announced that they had seized the Interpol Files Control Commission on Thursday, in order to obtain a pu and simple refusal to take into account and a fortiori, to disseminate these arrest warrants because of their political purpose. According to them, Paul WATSON, has been judicially persecuted for years by Japan and Costa Rica, his subcontractor.
The 2 lawyers call on European countries and France to welcome Paul WATSON, according to them a symbol of a new generation of refugees facing a country that defies international law and participates in the deliberate extinction of a protected species.

Hi Julian
I took a quick look (quick lunch break) but I will go back this evening at more length. First impression, the home page is pleasant and easily “readable”. Maybe plan to extend your site with the same pages in French and place small flags indicating the languages. See you, I'll go back to work! And well done, it's a long and tedious job.
