Hello
I'm back from a week spent in L'estartit and I had to bring back photos and videos. But my Sea Life took water at 25m and it is out of order
I am going to replace it and wanted to know if anyone has used the MUVI HD10 1080 camera before? This device was recommended to me by my dive shop in Biarritz.
thank you in advance

yes absolutely we have to warn them so that they make changes too if no one tells them they can't know.
Hi Serge,
It's a shame for your device! Not tempted by the Go pro?
Hello Pascal
Not especially because additional equipment is optional on the GO Pro while the Muvi all is included nothing to add
I will compare and make up my mind and by then the diving fair is fast approaching and we can be tempted !!!
Personally, I have a small Panasonic camera (10cm x 5cm and 1,5cm wide with the Ikelite box) full hd. Quite happy.
Hi Serge, sorry for your device ... I know what it is: I drowned 2 of them due to leaks on ikelite casing (they have a good after-sales service, but your device as a souvenir you can put it in a jar !) For my part, I buy from Plungimage: Hubert is very nice and he gives you good advice on the purchase and the functioning of the bazaar that you choose… .Bubbles
Hi Serge, the shots when it happens!
- One of my friends also drowned her 2 Canon (G10 & G11) with Ikelite boxes. Either she was unlucky or the quality is poor.
- Plongimage is very nice, he had sent us his personal reflector for troubleshooting and knows his equipment. Afterwards, anyway, it's you who chooses.
- My son has a Muvi, he makes great videos, including diving. I tried his toy; for the atmosphere and the panorama, it's good. I did not like the too small visual screen and the too “small” digital zoom, but it deserves to exist. Finally I gave him his camera back and said “yeah, nothing more” but we don't do the same things either and he is delighted with the Muvi.
I film with a TZ10 (Panasonic, a bit old now and I'm thinking of changing it) which has a super lossless zoom in image quality, full hd images, Leïca lens and Panasonic housing with all the controls accessible and which do not has not taken the water yet despite everything I have put him through.
Good luck Sergio!
Pascal, which is your Panasonic camera?
HM-TA1 photo and full HD video.
Battery life: several days!
you saw the size… .10X5 cm and 1,5 thick ..
Impeccable for travel. Good in addition, the housing and the arm for lighting.
Thank you all for your answers and your advice. It will allow me to think calmly and to make my choice for my next device which I hope will not drink the cup !!!
Bubbles to all and all !!
