At midnight Wednesday evening, the last divers came out of the water ... We can not deny that some will have tried to the end, while others, satisfied, had already devoted themselves for a long time to the extended happy hours of the bar of the hotel. Who knows, if we discover on Friday that a winning photo was taken at 23:55 pm tonight, then no doubt, it was worth it to stay in the water until the end, since there is still a way to win here up to $ 10 with just one image!
With the end of the shoot-out, the boxed amphibians seem to return to a more earthly life. At the same time as the flashes go out, the mouths stretch out in revealing yawns, the eyes freed from their sights close gently… But no time to relax, head for the computer room again for the rest (and end) of the image processing.
The deadline for the return of the last images is Thursday morning, which is to say that some will spend the night in front of their screens, finalize everything well, go to sleep ... and wake up very early to start all over before the fateful minute. It's hard to imagine it, but in fact a competition of this nature is almost harder to manage than the good old classic competitions where you give your images to the jury as soon as you leave the water before moving on to the aperitif. . Here, the time available to make the images, the chance to be able to rework them, the stimulation linked to the competition and not least the superb prizes to be won, mean that until the last moment everyone gives everything they can.
Thursday is therefore the day for the start of deliberations. From Friday evening, the first of the 41 prizes will be awarded, leading some to leap with joy, while others will consider their last deep of despair ... Participating in a competition is like being madly in love: there are joys and the sorrows, of course, but above all the shared emotions which take precedence over everything else!
