With more than 180 fish listed and 400 photos available, BiodiverSea offers a very rich database that will interest divers, snorkellers, biologists, but also simple lovers of marine world curious to know more about what we find under water.
Each of the species sheets includes, in addition to basic information (scientific and common name, number of dorsal fins, size, description, etc.), small “bonuses” to find out more about the fish in question: IUCN status, dangerousness, similar species. , edibility ...
An easy-to-use interactive questionnaire allows the user to almost certainly identify the name of a species found under water, filling as many fields as possible (tail shape, number of dorsal fins, size , depth ...).
Note that the application, available on Android and iOS (iPhone / iPod), has an offline mode: once installed, it no longer needs the internet to work.
