It was a cruise a fortnight ago to Malpelo on the Sea Wolf, a rather tired boat with age.
The weather conditions were pretty good at the start but at the end the sea got bigger. As there is nothing to protect ourselves around Malpelo, we had to leave for Gorgona (20 hours at sea).
The dives are really huge but the visibility can go from 40m to nothing at all very quickly. Many hammerhead sharks with each dive, really impressive schools of fish, moray eels in open water everywhere, eagle rays in number ...
The dives are done in strong currents and unfortunately, the organization of the dives was faulty. Guides not at the level, zodiac diving out of age, totally unsuited to sea conditions. In short, it was rock'n'roll in terms of safety. The Sea Wolf is therefore to be avoided absolutely but it is a sensational destination for beautiful sport diving.

Thanks Vincent; and the water temperature?
Thanks for this info 🙂
I bring the answer back to the ticket 😉
“From 26-27 on the surface to 17 degrees from 20 meters because of the thermocline. 7 millimeters of rigor. ”
Ozi - Indeed it's super annoying when you take the road early so as not to miss the departure of the boat and the place is not the right one - It is certain that a minimum of explanations or indications would not be superfluous to avoid this kind of problem
