The tragic events of recent days have led the Egyptian government to restore "the state of emergency" as well as a curfew in 11 regions of Egypt.
The Red Sea region is not affected by this curfew. She is not affected by crowd movements and fratricidal fights either.
The purpose of these remarks is not to take sides, nor to meddle in Egyptian politics, nor even to minimize the colossal stake which is currently being played for Egypt… It is rather to inform you in all objectivity of the real situation here in the Red Sea, a situation completely out of step with what you can see on television and with regard to the warnings from our Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Yes, today it is strongly advised not to go to Cairo and to certain other big cities… it is however useless to advise against ALL travel to Egypt.
Other countries (Belgium, Switzerland, England ...) do not recommend in any case the Red Sea and its seaside resorts, considered not problematic.
FYI, during the day yesterday, about 40 flights from Europe were landed in Hurghada ...
We have on board this week, as last week, 24 divers, even children, who enjoyed an air at 38 ° C and a water 28 ° C ...
Rest assured that if there was danger to the physical integrity of people in the Red Sea, we would be the first to advise against coming ... yet for the moment, life continues normally. You can come dive, you will be well received, especially by the Egyptians!
This message is not for commercial purposes, it is just information on the real situation of the Red Sea: Hurghada, Safaga, Quoseir, Marsa Alam, Hamata…
Thank you for your trust and we look forward to welcoming you all very soon ...

It's done for me too .. Letter, petition; everything is good .. We cross our fingers .. Friendships Ozi 😉
We were only a few days ago in Egypt.
The situation in all the seaside towns was quite peaceful !!!
I confirm… I will also add that the perceptible drop in attendance linked to the negative media noise makes this destination even more attractive because the dive sites are less frequented. If some divers are afraid to go there, fish and other sharks are definitely there. It is therefore a very very good time to go there !!
