In 2010, Jim Farry, an American in his thirties, took the initiative to launch a movement followed by many activists for the cause of whales & dolphins around the world: a day of protest that would take place on November 5, a symbolic day because opening day of whaling in Japan.
For this 2nd edition of the World Day Against Cetacean Hunting, join the movement in order to make “civilized” countries hear:
- that these practices from another time are over,
- that “tradition” is not an excuse,
- that “science” is only a pretext,
and that such intelligent beings must be treated with respect.
Meet on Saturday November 5, 2011 at 14:00 p.m. near the Embassy of Japan in Paris, 7 Avenue Hoche - 8th arrondissement.
For any additional information, you can download the press release on the cetaceans network site and / or send an email to Julien Manigot - julien@reseaucetaces.org

@ Gérard Loridon: Please tell us what happened next, the trip, where did you go, how long you stayed, the authorizations, the means on board, the boat, the nice meetings, the galleys, the dives, your impressions ... a long post, now that you have written the beginning ...!
Awesome!
Can we participate or commit to this day dedicated to the protection of cetaceans if we do not live in Paris?
Yes you can participate if you do not live in Paris. This day appeals to everyone.
