Festisub was able to count on many prestigious guests for its 9e edition. Among them, Albert Falco, a legend in the world of the underwater image since he worked for several years alongside the very famous Commander Cousteau.
Even though the cataloging of "former Calypso captain" dies hard, the 84-year-old diver stood out for his availability, generosity, modesty, sympathy and philosophy of life. Much more than a teammate of Cousteau, Albert Falco alone deserves all the intention that was conveyed to him during the two days of the festival.
This lover of the seabed has offered many moments of thrills to the Festival of Underwater Image, whether to the public during his appearances on the stage, with visitors or with other guests.
This is the magic of Festisub ...

A thought for Eric's family, we are part of the community of cave divers (at a much more modest level obviously…) and this disappearance affects us too…
Let's salute the work he accomplished with his team and which will allow a large number of divers to explore caves that he was the first or one of the first to discover!
