La Cantine is THE Parisian place dedicated to digital players (for more information, http://lacantine.org/events/la-planete-bleue-la-derniere-frontiere-numerique
The objective is to organize a meeting between professionals of the underwater world (divers, scientists, archaeologists ...) and specialists in new technologies and audiovisual (digital mapping system, web 2.0, virtual universes, video games , simulation…).
Among the themes addressed:
How to promote the natural and archaeological heritage to the general public?

What potential for online submarine virtual tours and diving simulation solutions?

This workshop will begin with a presentation of the state of the art by VirtualDive and its partner SubOceana. It will be followed by a demonstration of the innovative solutions resulting from our Digital Ocean project and by its development prospects.
A workshop around a coffee will then take place in the form of open debates between the participants. An opportunity to meet, exchange with other professionals and develop your network!

Hello Alain,
I met Phil last week… what do you think if we tried streaming via scuba during your conference ???
A + Manu
Why not! I know that “La Cantine” offers streaming video but it is a paid service. How do you see it? For my part, I can inquire. See you soon,
Alain
Hello Patricia. It is the ISOTTA housing, the Wide Angle and the Achromatic Macro Saga that explode the price. If you are satisfied with the CANON G16 with the box making 40 m and the lighthouse (still essential), you get by at a good price for an excellent material.
