Here we go, you are on vacation, well deserved! The sun, the heat, the beaches, and above all… the diving is yours!
Head to Thailand this summer? Want to discover something else in southern Thailand?
For the first time, Similan Paradive, located in Khao Lak, opens its doors from July 15 to offer you exceptional dives on sites close to the coast: Boon Sung, Premai Wreck and Sea Chart (tech diving) but also , in the incredible depths of Khao Sok Lake (see focus on Khao Sok below).
This summer, we are therefore offering those of you who will have the chance to discover the south of Thailand, a place a little different, very close to the wonderful national park and lake of Khao Sok where the assets are numerous: fewer tourists , reduced hotel prices, and, for the attractions: numerous waterfalls, lush vegetation, splendid beaches, proximity to the famous sites of Phang Nga and Khao Sok, in short, only happiness, far from the crowds of the islands of Koh Phi Phi, Koh Tao or other Phuket!
Khao Sok:
The Khao Sok jungle is one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world - older and more varied than the Amazon rainforest. There are around 50 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, numerous amphibians and snakes and a still unknown number of insects! A real treat for naturalists of all stripes!
Khao Sok National Park, created in 1981, with 739 km2, manages the largest virgin forest in southern Thailand.
It contains 3 "stars":
- Chew Lan Lake (or Rachaprapha), huge and tortuous artificial lake from which magnificent rocks emerge. Mysterious and spectacular, some consider it more beautiful than the famous Halong Bay;
- rafflesia, the biggest “flower” in the world!
- gibbons, monkeys whose song amazes all those who are lucky enough to hear it;
SIMILAN PARADIVE therefore invites you, from July 15, to meet in Khao Lak for exceptional excursions and dives on the famous Khao Sok lake.

Diving around Khao Lak:
Diving the first time on the Boon Sung wreck, I could not have imagined seeing so much life there. And yet ... The only point of attraction for the surrounding species, this wreck sunk in 1 allows you to see as many species as you can see on the Similans Islands, from the small spotted moray eel to the incredible schools of barracudas , passing by (for the lucky ones among you!) the famous whale shark crossed several times on this site.
The dives at the sites of Boon Sung and Premchai wreck, are done by longtail boat (traditional Thai boat) and, from the beach, it is only 30 minutes of navigation before jumping into the water.
