Do you dream of an adventure at 20 000 leagues under the sea? How about spending a night in an aquarium of 3 million liters of water, 10 meters deep and 35 sharks? Immerse yourself in the mysterious world of these little-known and often misunderstood animals.
The 11, 12 and 13 April, the Aquarium of Paris opens its doors for the very first night in a room in total immersion in sharks. And not just any room: you will sleep in a circular bed, with a breathtaking view of the world of sharks. It will change your wall frieze.
Three lucky winners and their guest will be welcomed by Fred Buyle. Freediving champion, seabed photographer and shark lover, he will provide presentations and dive with your new neighbors to start the evening in style. Then, with one of our biologists, you will embark on a captivating tour of the hidden face of the life of the sharks. You will discover their way of life, why they are so often misunderstood, and how vital they are to the ocean ecosystem.
Upon your arrival, we will show you your room. Make yourself comfortable and get comfortable while Fred makes presentations in the pool. Then head towards the shark tunnel for an intimate dinner with a sumptuous view of your roommates for the night.
Located a few steps from the Eiffel Tower and inaugurated in 1867, the Aquarium of Paris is the oldest aquarium in the world. After your departure, this underwater room will serve as an observatory to study the behavior of this majestic animal.
